P3D archives (search strategies)

I reindexed the archives this morning (it takes about 20 minutes) and
the search engine looks like it's working ok now if you restrict the
searches a bit. What is happening is that there is a CPU time limit
on how long the search engine will run on any particular query in order
to prevent recursive search loops and the like. Since the machine is
getting increaingly busy, and the archives are increasingly large,
if this time limit is exceeded, you'll just get a blank screen
back (this has been rare in the past - looks like I'll have to have
a more graceful way for it to give up). At any rate, if you'll restrict
the search to subdirectories, it should work ok (most p3d digests are
in groups of 500). For example, for the recent query looking for
35mm projection infomation, I entered
35mm;projection
(the semi-colon is an AND operator). I restricted it to the digests
numberered 3,000 - 3,500 and got back...
