P3D Re: Happy Birthday
First, to Dr T, a belated Happy Birthday. I hope yours was as fun as
mine!
Second, Dr T and I share more than a love of 3D. We were both born on
the 17th of July although I did get here a couple of years ahead of
George!
My birthday celebration found us at Six Flags over Texas for the day. I
regret to inform the list though that I did NOT have the opportunity to
ride the 3D Dino Adventure ride. I was there with my family consisting
of my wife, my 5yr old, my 2yr old, my 4mth old and myself. The line
for the attraction had a sign that stated there was a 90 minute wait
from this point (approximate end of the line). Now, we all had been
drinking quite a bit of Coca Cola by the time we finally found this
ride. Needless to say, a stay in line for 90 minutes without a potty
break would not have worked for two little tykes. Not to mention a wife
and baby waiting on the outside for the same amount of time.
So, with a little disappointment, I agreed to pass on this attraction,
probably never to see it as it'll be a cold day in H*** before I go back
to Six Flags! I guess once you've been to Disneyworld, all other parks
pale in comparison. Six Flags was just hot, dirty and uninviting.
Still, I did get to take my 5yr old on his first REAL roller coaster
ride! It was a thrill and he had a great time.
Regards,
Ron
