P3D Bill Davis Look -a-like Contest

I am sorry that the scheduled Bill Davis look-a-like contest failed to
come off as I was really looking forward to it.  No, I wasn't going to
enter due to several technical difficulties :

a. I am to old
b. I am not tall enough
c. I have a gray beard
d.  I don't really believe that the Kodak stereo camera is THAT MUCH
BETTER THAN A REALIST

However, I did go to a local novelty store and buy a baseball cap with an
artificial pony tail sticking out the back.  I even 
went to the trouble to change the pony tail to the front of the cap so
that my "ringer candidate" (Les Gehman, David Klutho?) could wear the
bill of the cap to the rear, in the fashion of the day.

Everything was in place for this first ever NSA Convention Contest.  The
same panel of judges that Bruce Springsteen used for the stereograph
display were going to judge this prestigious Sunday evening event.  There
were at least two prizes for the winner 1.  1000 meters of genuine camera
case restitching thread, woven by the hill tribes of Northern Thailand. 
This thread came wrapped around a teak spool which had a Kodak stereo
camera carved on both ends.  This prize was imported by Dick Twichell
during his annual "Let's get out of the Rochester Snow" trek to Thailand.
 2.  A case of Arkansas wine (One of the best kept secrets in the world
of wine) which my son brought from Arkansas to Georgia and I transported
to Green Bay.

One BIG PROBLEM - When the time came for the judging we couldn't find
Bill Davis as he took the profits from his Kodak T shirt sales and
chartered a plane for Rochester in the early afternoon.

MAYBE NEXT YEAR!!!!!
