One of the questions asked of the VM folk was if tehy could see of any
design issues that would prevent the removal (IE cutting away) of the
rounded protrusions. They said there is nothing structurally important
about them and that they could be removed. I suppose this would be
fairly ewasy with a cremel tool or something. (I have not tried it...)

This was brought up. Charlie Van Pelt was tehre and talked of his many
week trip to parts ALL OVER the country taking new pictures for reels.
He is very much into that still, and is held in high esteem by the new
folk at VM. They also have some very nice new packet designs. This new
company is doing it right. As new things succeed on the "bottom line".
they will continue on with their "plans" which they were not at liberty
to share with us. I was very impressed with their level of effort so
far. Let's wait and see what they do... =)
