P3D Revere 33 and Wollensak 10 History

Hello,
I have wanted a Revere 33 for a long time and just had the opportunity to
purchase one. This go me interested again in its history.
Does anyone know of a source for the history of the Revere 33 and Wollensak
cameras?
What is the difference between the different Revere 33 versions?
Some of you on the list talk about shutter/lens boards for sale, and even a
surplus house is now selling them for $29, What does this mean and why are
there just the shutter/lens boards available (Will I find the camera bodies
when I find those missing socks in my dryer)?
Seriously, I really would like to learn more about this fine camera, its
heritage and technical specifications. So if anyone can increase my
knowledge of the Revere 33, I would welcome the information.
