P3D Magenta cast on Kodachrome

I have seen several postings related to the "magenta cast" on Kodachrome
transparencies. This prompted me to look at some of my recent Kodachrome
slides. I found no magenta cast in any of them. I shoot a Realist but it is
equipped with modern Ricoh point and shoot lenses. Are those shooters that
are experiencing the color shift shooting with older stereo cameras or
modern cameras? Not being an optics engineer, I wondered if the color shift
to magenta might be caused by the older coatings on the older camera lenses
or, does the coating have no effect on what kind of light is finally
transmitted to the film. Someone please educate me on this matter.
