P3D Re: Magenta cast on Kodachrome

This isn't really a magenta cast over the whole slide, but only in
badly overexposed white highlights. It also seems to be worse at long
exposures over 1/15 second, so may be related to reciprocity failure.
You won't see it unless your slide is overexposed or has an extreme
contrast range such that most of the slide is correctly exposed but
part of it is a bright white--here is where the magenta occurs. My
most recent problem with it was shooting a real person, wearing a dark
blue top, holding a Barbie doll in a wedding dress. The real person 
part of the image was correctly exposed, or perhaps half a stop over. The
Barbie doll's dress, being bright white, had turned instead a light magenta.
There was no magenta cast in the rest of the picture.
