It sounds like you need two springs to PULL the plates together. I am
looking forward to doing something like this with my "new" Olympus XAx2
twin rig at some point. Right now it is hacked together with a couple of
office/paper spring clips.
By the way, this can serve as a response to the XAx2 thread which was quite
active just prior to the convention - but at that time I was too busy to
