P3D Re: lenticular query
Regarding the comments of lenticulars from the '50s made from
Realist originals, I believe that these were made from a custom
built multi-lens camera. I have one of these with John Wayne
holding the Realist. The person to took these is old but still
around in Los Angeles. George Skelly knows more about this story
but apparently he is not tuned to photo-3d lately. (Dalia knows
about this too... perhaps she can enlighten us?)

This person is Peter Sinclair and I did have the pleasure of
meeting him and his wife and it was a great pleasure indddeed!
Digital interpolation is how I understand it too. Peter told
me that he could do this for any Realist stereo pair but as
a custom job it would be more expensive and would require
some minimum order. But if the image has a greater appeal and
can be sold to others then things change...
Peter just mailed me a pin for one of the framed lenticulars
that I got in Green Bay and he included a couple of lenticular
fridge magnets. My children started fighting over these so I
guess I will have to order more! I do not recall these magnets
being mentioned in Peter's literature but they definitely make
a great gift for people of all ages!
