Good question for the Answer Man!
First, can you tell what kind of fogging is this? Does it look
like condensation or something that can be cleaned? Can you
tell if it in the front or the back element? Can you see the
effect in the pictures? If you feel that this needs to done
then proceed as follows:
To remove the back element: Take the lens plate off (4 screws
in front, two at the top - nothing really to worry). Very
carefully unscrew the retaining ring of the lens. (Be careful
not to scratch the lens in the process.) You can clean the
back element and one surface of the center. Make sure that
you put the lens back in the same orientation when done!
I have never removed the front element but I understand that
you can grip the lens barrel with a thick rubber band or rubber
gloves and turn it. It will unscrew.
