P3D New Scanner Slide scan test results

Well,

I appreciated all of you who sent messages last week when I asked about
scanners. I settled on a Microtek Scanmaker X6 for $99.00 with a small
transparency adapter included, then ordered the full lid transparendy
adapter for anoth $80.00. Doesn't sound like much does it...?

Well, I am pleasantly surprised by what I can get out of this little
gem. Here is a QUICKLY scanned in pair from a Tru-Vue roll:

Yes, it's pseudo and has minor rotational errors, but as I said it was a
quick experiment. I am very surprised what a $99.00 scanner can do these
days... Any comments?
