Note you can't put anything in the subject line (weird, I know,
but that's the way Listserv 6.0c operates). For general FYI,
here are all of the automated messages in one handy dandy
package...

modified as appropriate for whichever
list you'd like (see below) - and enter your REAL name
(not an alias/handle) - this is not sent on your
postings, but is necessary to track down e-mail
problems should they occur.

To DE subscribe, send a message to the same
address, but enter 

unsubscribe photo-3d

(or whichever list you are on -
do NOT put your name on the request - 
the listserv  software will kick the
message out - the address is used automatically
in the desubscribe process).

sd-3d
sell-3d

(MIME information)

Listserve 6.0c/d (the software robot here) will not normally
pass either messages with MIME content or attachments. 

If you are sending MIME style text, it will be necessary to 
reset your mail program to send "Straight ASCII Text". How to
do this will vary with the program. However in your settings/
preferences, you should (somewhere) see an option to "Send 
Quoted Printable" or "Send MIME text" or "Send HTTP" - you'll
need to turn these OFF.

Explorer Express is particularly bad about this as sending MIME
is enabled by DEFAULT (thanks, #(*@(@Y Microsoft). 

Otherwise kindly drop a note to me direct, and if I'm familiar with
your program, I'll try to tell you exactly how to send straight
text.

if you want immediate, one at at time
delivery, or 

set list_name mail digest

if you want compacted messages when about
20Kbyte are ready to be sent.

NOTE: "Digest" isn't really a digest - its just
the standard ACK type messages sent all at
once instead of one at a time.

You my also set postpone mode:

set list_name mail postpone

to place your subscription on suspension.

NOTE: "Postpone" doesn't actually postpone
delivery - it just turns it off until you turn
it back on again. The advantage of postpone
over simply de-subscribing is that you will
not have to be approved by the moderators again,
saving some time.
