The decision on a Card rather than a Slide Exhibition in conjunction
with the 1999 ISU Congress in Lindau is a Host Nation decision
rather that a decision or policy of the ISU.

My understanding is that a volunteer with the necessary skills offered to
organised a Stereo Card Exhibition and there was no similar offer to
organise a Slide Exhibition.
