P3D VM reels

No matter what subject (other that stereo) you bring up here, there
seems to be somebody who knows something about it.  How about
machinery?  How much would it cost to build a new VM Personal Reels
machine?  One that's reliable and makes reels that don't have the
pockets glued shut.  Would ten thousand dollars be enough?  Fifty? 
What are annual reel sales?  How big would such a machine be?
