Kodak has made millions of duplicates of Kodachrome Slides on Kodachrome
over the years. They did a great job and I have had Kodachrome Stereo
Slides duplicated, when they offered the service. The problem is in
controlling contrast. The best way is to use contrast masks. This can yield
exceptional results if the technician is careful. There are labs that do
this, but it is costly, compared to straight duplicates.
