P3D Film Comment

A little off topic, I suppose, but did any of you see the tests of print
film shown on TV the other night? It was on a news type program that looked
at Kodak's print film and several others. They wanted to see if expensive
film gave a better result. They asked some professionals to evaluate the
prints and select the best film. The results were that Kodak print films
came out the clear looser and Walgreen's (?) labeled film was the clear
winner on most points. The Walgreen's film (as I recall it was Walgreen's)
was the cheapest stock, and it was made by Agfa. Agfa admitted that the
film they spool and label for Walgreen's was one of their standard films
when sold as Agfa Film. Very interesting program.

The outcome was the cheapest film was the best film and that film was Agfas
film that was more costly when sold as Agfa film. Does anyone use
Walgreen's Film?
