P3D searching the archives

Someone recently said they could not search the archives.

Let me reinterate that they are large enough now that a search
will likely time out before results are obtained (there is a CPU
time limit to kill infinite loops, which occasionally happen).
If necessary, select sub-sets of the archives and search individually
(they are in 500 digest "chunks"). Also if you specify a lot
of options, like mutiple misspellings, etc, again it's likely to
time out, so it's best to keep the keyword match request as simple as possible.
