In P3D Digest 3446 Gabriel Jacobs says:

It is not that it has to be hard to duplicate. It is a matter of being able
to tell the original from a duplicate. In the case of a poem or other
writing it has to be a matter of acknowledgment of who said it first.
Once it has been said and acknowledged it is a simple matter to
spot a fake (plagerism).

If I was to copy a poem and hand it to you would you consider that
art? If I was to compose an original poem, write it down and hand it
to you would you consider that art?

I find the lines to be very clear and easy to define. However, I can
see why others do not.

That's all for now,
