Mark,

I'm curious about the black card (or black pillow!) technique.
I'm trying to imagine it, and it sounds like you're holding it
in front of the lens(es). Prop the camera open on B and then
hold up the card until the right moment, when you whisk it away,
to avoid any chance of camera shake? Did I guess right?  :-)
