P3D Polarizers and RBT X4

Since the X4 is a manual camera with a built-in meter, would I benefit
to use circular polarizers instead of linear? If I understand this
correctly, my meter should read accurately through the circular
polarizers without having to compensate, whereas I may have to
compensate 2 stops( from camera's meter reading) with linear polarizers.
Is this correct? Thanks
