P3D Lenticular Prints

For those interested in an alternative to Image Tech for
doing lenticular prints, I will save you some time by
sharing with you this clip from my correspondence with
ZEXIAN SHEN.

================================================
Thank you for the quick reply to my Email concerning
lenticular prints. Let me repeat my understanding of the
price list to be sure I am correct:

To get 16 prints(3.5 x 4.5, one per 3-image set) from a
standard roll
 I would:

1. Get the film developed myself.
2. Send the film itself to China.
3. Send to NY $9.99 per print (x16=~$160) plus $40 express
postage. (total approximately $160+$40 or $200 (US dollars))
4. Get prints in about 2 weeks.

Is this correct?

Thanks
Jeff Jessee

===================================================

Their answer was that the prices weve correct, except that
it would take 3 weeks.They also suggested that I would want
to have my images developed and printed 2D first, and then
have them print only the best images. Now I guess we know
why Image Tech couldn't make a go of it at less that $20 per
roll. It was pointed out to me that the 2nd to 10th print
from each image is only $1.99 each, so if you wanted two
copies, the per print price would be only $5.98 each. I've
read here that they do very good work, but I guess po folks
like me will have to wait for Image Tech to re-surface and
hope their quality is better than it had become in Georgia.

Jeff Jessee
