P3D Re: Sharp? No way

>I am one of those who thinks sharpness is extremely important.

And so am I when I use my Realist red button or Hugo deWijs viewer.
That's why I love my RBT S1 and I rarely throw away a picture...

(I used to keep an average 10 out of 29 pictures from a Realist and
I was darn proud for it.... now with the S1 I get slides that are
well exposed and sharp 95% of the time... there is no reason to throw
a technically sound slide away even if it is pretty boring.)

Projection steals resolution. Two pairs of filters, polarizing glasses,
PROJECTION SCREEN, smaller images (as a rule, people sit further away
from the ortho seat, usually much futher, and get a smaller image than
they do with the viewer), DIMMER LIGHT, ghosting... If the slide is
slightly soft you cannot see it in projection while you do see it
in a GOOD viewer. We've mentioned the differences between projection
and viewer in the past. If the appeal of the image is based on fine
sharp details, then this will not work in projection. Projection favors
simple and bold compositions, not sharpness.

How much stereo projection experience do you have?
