Is selective focus in stereo photography ok? 
I'm genuinely curious...

Tracking moving subjects -- blurred results can be better.  Do you
really want everyone to look like wax cutouts all of the time?  The
subjects are the sharpest thing in the frame - but even there the soft
focus adds life.
