Dr T trying 2x converters on his X4? That's alot of X-ing around. :-) I
suspect you will lose 1-2 stops of light which will require a tripod (
unless shooting portraits with a flash or shallow DOF)
Interesting.....let us know how it goes. I wanted to clarify my desire
to try a pair of 70-210mm zooms on my X4. I wouldn't attempt to match
the focal lengths without linkeage....but rather to try the lenses at
each end. 70mm would be nice to fill the frame with portraits
etc....then zoom out to 210mm for wildlife shots etc. There would be so
much compression a 210mm anyway that I could open the f stop wide open
and get some decent shutter speeds. Has anyone tried this on an RBT
camera? What do you think George? I could borrow 2 such lenses and give
it a try. ( F4 I believe) Mark Dottle
