It might be that RBT matches the longer end of the
zoom lenses, assuming that this is the critical end
and the shorter will match OK. That's a curiocity
question to ask the RBT boss at the ISU Conference.

I just ran a test roll with some Pentax lenses I got
on Sunday. It appears that the 50 mm lenses and the
2x extenders that I got are very well matched. In
the past I have had very good experiences with randomly
purchaced lenses for my Minolta X-700 rig. That's why
I generally tell people not to worry about matching
lenses in twin SLR rigs. Just get two lenses and
chances are that they will be OK. If they are not,
then get a third one and, with 3 combinations to
choose, it is almost certainty that one will work well.
