P3D Matching Lenses

I've been using Pentax K-mount lenses on my synch'd Ricoh SLR's for several
years now. My preference has always been for single focal length lenses
rather than zooms. Mainly because you know exactly what f-stop you're using
rather than having to deal with the varying f-stops of zoom lenses. I like
to figure my own exposures, the cameras are often wrong. As far as matching
the lenses is concerned I've experienced no problem with mismatched focal
lengths. I have however noticed some variance in the size of the aperture
from one example to another, resulting in one chip always being a little
lighter that the other. When buying lenses I make sure to inspect the
aperture blades at several different stops to make sure the opening looks
exactly the same.

Presently I carry a pairs of 28mm (used most often) 40mm (the famous pancake
lens), 50mm and 135mm.
