I want to point out that if the final output is digital you can resize
one image to match the other image size.  You would also have the option
to
adjust any color balance difference due to different lens coatings.
Doing the same in film would be more difficult, and matched lenses avoid 
these issues.  Even using digital methods it is best to take it right in
the
first place.
