P3D Detroit Photo Exhibition

The next Exhibition on the international Circuit is the 60th Detroit
International Salon of Photography with a closing date of  Sep 11, 1999. 
This Salon includes a section for stereo slides.  There is still time to
request an entry form and get your entry in.  The person in charge of
mailing out entry forms is G. Wm Buchanan, FPSA.  To request a form send

>From all the postings on P3D there seem to be a large group who make
stereo slides. This is a good chance to compare your works to the slides
of others and to support this exhibition. All of the stereo exhibitions
deserve support.  There is a great deal of very rewarding work that goes
into these exhibitions, and they can only grow and continue if they
receive support (spelled Entries)

I will enter the Detroit Salon although I usually provide the "Mr Filler"
slot on stereo slide exhibitions.  Maybe my slides give the judges a
welcome laugh, and that may help a bit.  I don't do stereo slides very
well because I don't like them, but I can usually dig up four to submit
to an exhibition.

Unfortunately the Detroit Salon does not have a stereo card section yet. 
Perhaps a flood of encouraging emails and letters from the international
stereo card community will convince the organizers that they should
consider including a section for the Classic Format.

I sort of waited to post this reminder as I expected that some of the
stereo slide makers, who regularly participate in these international
exhibitions, would make a P3D posting on this subject.  But, since none
was forthcoming I thought I should go ahead and remind folks before it is
to late.
