Mark Shields writes " underexposure increases grain. Overexposure
reduces grain." 
Are you sure about this Mark? Are we talking about slide film here? Most
of my slides that are overexposed appear grainy.....slides that are
underexposed appear darker,denser with less grain. This statement is
definitely true for print film, but not necessarily true for slide
films.
