Indeed yes - I came *very* close to buying one (vs a Zip) at the
time, so can sympathize with people who have an "orphan" drive.
I ended up buying neither one - HD space has gotten so cheap
(at the local Costco there is a 10.4 GB Maxtor for $140) that
I use that, plus a CD-ROM burner. In *my* particular case, most
of the machines I deal with are networked, so I don't have to deal
with transporting files from one machine to another (the other
major use I'd have for one).
I'm thinking that the Syquest experience may make people leery of
the Orb as well...
