This is so very true, and one of the many great things
about shooting stereo with '50s stereo cameras!  The
equipment is so affordable you can readily acquire the
multiple cameras needed to accomodate several types of
film.  For most of my years shooting flatties I longed
for multiple camera outfits so I could shoot both negative
and slide film, but could never justify the cost of
duplicate modern SLR setups.  (Of course now that I
shoot stereo slides I wonder why anyone would ever
need negative film, but that's a whole other topic!)
