RE: John Goodman et al. While most people report Kodachrome 
60 years 0ld (e.g 1939-1999) as having original color. The comment 
about splotches etc. is, as noted later, fungus and mold. It is not 
limited to Kodachrome but to all slides since these creatures love 
the gelatin emulsion. So it affects those slide stored improperly 
usually in tropic or humid climate..nothing to do with Kodachrome, 
except slides that old on Ansco or Agfa color and later Ektachrome 
were probably discarded from fading. Silvefish do a good job too!
BobH (my 1939-40 Golden Gate Exposition are still perfect.
