That's the impression I get too, but I'm not sure why. I have two of them 
and I'm hard pressed to see any advantage with the TDC 116 (which I also
have, got from Dr.T). Granted the TDC is better built (and much more heavier),
but functionality wise it seems the same. Am I missing something?

P.S. Actually they go for much less than $350.
