  I don't know if I want black but with
the cardboard MF mounts I often have
problems with light coming through the
mounts (usually with a dark scene).
You'd be amazed how much silver tape
I use inside the MF mounts to block
light so that no light from around
the window opening is visible in my
viewer.

  So actually what I'd prefer is the
current white paper mounts with shiny
outside, but blackened on the inside
surface with an archival ink. Then I
could still label the slides and save
a lot of silver tape :)
