P3D RBT Tracks

It'll take time to go beyond my novicehood, so at the
moment I'm a one trick pony when it comes to mounting. I
can stomach the cost of RBTs for the few rolls a month I
take, and find them easy to use.

They would not be if I didn't have a secure slot for them to
fit into, on my light table which doesn't move around. With
tight fitting pin bars, I couldn't enjoy setting the window until
I immobilized the mount frame, so my fingers could be free
to apply force just to one side's pin bar at a time. A simple
fixed stereo magnifier yields a dynamic view of window
changes, and is high enough to allow fingerwork on the
mount underneath. I used good double stick tape and three
thin aluminum flat bars to make a U-shaped receptacle
stuck to the glass, that all RBT mounts fit into.
