Sorry for the long URL. If it isn't clickable or cut and 
pastable, just go to micro-tools.com and search on shutter 
tester. The unit I used differs slightly from the picture 
there: the sensor cord was helical and stretchy, like a 
typical phone wire for the handset. The sensor is in the 
center of a rubber pad that fits exactly on 35 mm camera 
film rails, and is of a length that's supposed to fit MF 
cameras as well. The instruction manual was well written 
and informative.  HTH.
