P3D Shields Up

We are missing a very important point regarding our efforts to convert
Mark Shields to a Realist ( 5p) format. Learning to mount the images!
I'm guessing his viewers are beamspltter format. And 2 adjacent Nimslo
chips could be cut with scissors and snapped into a single mount, right?
I recall my first few self-mounted images as impressive, but it wasn't
until 1 year later that I " got it". I knew nothing about mounting back
then! I have learned alot since.
So what does Mark need to be converted?
A 5p viewer, lightbox,mounting guages, mounts,tape tabs,tape,( maybe
some slip-ins for previewing) and some extra time. And more time to
become proficient with mounting.....window placement, reduced mounts,
double depth mounting.......Albion,spicers, RBT, glass mounting and
finally...........projection!
wheeeeeeew.........so how much time can I save with a beamsplitter?? Too
much time! And that leaves too much time for housework! :-)
