P3D 4p Images, Nimslo format

I purchased a Nimslo AFTER owning a Realist. Why? Because I wanted a P&S
camera to grab those spontaneous shots without hesitation. My success
yield from this camera is such that I wish there was alot of hesitation
in the design....simply so I would have missed the shot and saved more
film. Nimslo economical? No way.....the little 4 eyed monster will empty
your film bag quicker than you can say "cheese". I earned one "
honorable mention" and many " please don't mention this image to anyone"
in club competitions. This is simply not the camera to launch you into
the stereo hall of fame, but for the money I'll hold onto it. It's great
for producing multiple 2d keychain viewers for events etc. The best
results can be expected by using the outer chips and 4p spicer mounts. I
found little or no play to move the chips around in the mounts, so often
I am disappointed with the limited window control. Not to mention the 3
colored filters I designed to place over the sensor to trick the camera
for proper exposures! What a science project that was!
Anyway.....I'm a 4p fan too!! I can place an 8p image into a 4p mount
and crop with endless possibilities.......but most importantly, the
ability to control the composition and window can make the image an
exceptional one.
