Unfortunately, conversion of a Realist to 7p requires the 
additional coverage that only 2.8 lenses provide. And the 
present market price for a 2.8 Realist probably starts 
around $400 and goes up from there. (An Ektar just went 
for $800 on eBay.) Add to this the approx. $585 for the 
conversion, plus a prior-to-conversion CLA (if needed) and 
you are right up there in Belplasca or Verascope territory, 
four figures, a grand or more, unless you're lucky.

As for 7p, how could it not be attractive? Just more of a 
good thing, if the subject warrants.   :-)
