"Sync" means "what method of synchronizing two cameras". I've used
"Ext. Elect." for external electrical (eg, splicing together two
electronic shutter release cables, etc.), Ext. Mech. for external
mechanical (eg., a "Y" cable release), and Int. Elect. for opening the
cameras and wiring their insides together. I'm not aware of any
Int. Mech. solutions, or other possibilities. I suppose pushing the
two shutter buttons and hoping for the best would fall under
"Ext. Mech."
Thanks VERY much for the Pentax info. I'll add it to my table.
