P3D Kodak developing & mounting

Well gang, I just received two rolls of stereo slides back from Kodak.
Apparently our local Target store still sends to Qualex who then routes
to the proper location for processing in stereo :-)
I'm "less than impressed" with the "quality" of the mounting job on
these slides. I have not yet reviewed them in a viewer (got 'em on the
way in to work), however most of the mounts look like the film chip is
warped. Additionally, I don't think the heat sealer did a great job
sealing the mounts.
I also got two mounts back with only one film chip. Apparently the
other half was somehow damaged? They look like "end of the roll" shots
(i.e. stuff around the yard) so it is possible that I didn't wind
everything just right.
However, I guess you get what you pay for as both rolls ran ~5.50 for
developing and mounting. So, I can remount if I don't like the way they
look. Besides, these are just for fun. No competition, no circuits,
just some viewing with the family.
Regards,
Ron
