Steve, I think it is better not to use the term "microswitch"
which implies a different kind of switch.  It is just a small
contact switch.  To access it you have to remove the reflector
of the viewer (and put it back - not a trivial job).  I don't
think this contact is more trouble-free than other vintage viewer
switches and I don't see any reason for being such, since it is
just a simple contact switch between unplated metals.
