in binding in wrongly colored glasses. No wonder 3D comics didn't sell very
well.<
Ray '3-D' Zone responds:
Did you read previous p-3d digests 3501-3503?
>Miles of red and blue lens material had been manufactured by 1983 to 3-D
Video specifications which were created for polychromatic anaglyph. So for
years afterward much backwards engineering was necessary to make the
anaglyphs work with this fairly light blue lens that was commonly
available.<
Eclipse Comics purchased the only red/blue film that was available at the
time. I produced 24 different 3-D comics for Eclipse and they are to be
APPLAUDED for publishing them. But of course they did that because 3-D
comics SOLD WELL!
WHERE did you get your information to the contrary?
As recently as December of 1998, in fact, DC Comics sold a quarter of a
million 3-D comics. And 3-D comics have been continuously published since
1983. This would not be happening unless people bought them.
3-D comics sell very well. And they have been doing so for the last 16 years.
