P3D Stereo Dinner next week in Manhattan

It's been a long, sunny summer, with lots of photo opportunities.  So 
dig out your prize stereo shots and share them with an appreciative 
audience.  Join us for dinner next Friday and talk stereo among 
friends.

We're usually not this fancy, but this time we will feature a short 
mounting demo.  Honestly, I got a request, and besides, I have slides 
that need mounting from my backpacking trip to Maine. :^)  We'll 
mount a couple "to the window" and a couple at infinity.  I'll be 
mounting medium format slides, nice and big, so it will be easy to 
see across the table.

Besides summer slides and the mounting demo, there will be stereo 
cameras and gadgets.  I built a pentaprism viewer for uncut 
filmstrips that I'm proud of.  Bring your toys to share.

We always meet on the third Friday at La Cocina, at 85th and 
Broadway.  They make the best Mexican food in Manhattan.  Very 
tasteful inside, not Taco Bell.  There are several good, big meals on 
the menu for under ten bucks.  They usually give us our own section, 
so we have some quiet and space to move, a miracle in Manhattan.  The 
hostess will point us out.

Join us next Friday, Oct 15, at La Cocina, 217 West 85th Street, just 
off  Broadway.  We'll be there starting at 6:30 pm, and we stay until 
9 pm or later.  come and go when you like.
