P3D new projector at ISU?

A report by Diane Rulien in the newsletter of the Cascade Stereoscopic Club
mentions a new type of slide projector displayed at the ISU in Lindau last
month.  'Interference filters' in the projector and the viewing glasses
gave a bright image, free of ghosts; but the glasses would cost $300. each.
 Can anyone tell me more about the technical aspects of this projection
system?
