P3D New to list and 3d

Hello, I've just subscribed to this mailing list, and I'm in the process
of shopping for 3d supplies and equipment. My interest is in stereo
slides, and I do a lot of cave photography - this includes formations,
underground lakes and rivers, and the other very interesting scenes you'll
find in caves. Cave photography can be challenging enough with regular
equipment, stereo will certainly add to the technical problems. So far,
all I have is a silver projection screen and some bids at work on Ebay
for cameras. Stereo projectors are hard to find at reasonable cost.
I've read that it's possible to use two separate Kodak Ektagraphic
projectors stacked one on the other. Does anyone on the list know
about this method and will it produce decent results? Using two separate
projectors will eliminate the need for special mounting of the realist
format stereo slides, two in the same frame.

Thanks in advance for any feedback I get,

Charles
