P3D Stereo Dinner tomorrow night in Manhattan

With the fine weather we had this summer, I'll bet you have some new 
stereo photos.  Why not share them with some appreciative friends 
tomorrow night?  If you don't have any mounted, take a look at some 
of ours.  I've got one or two new ones. :^)  The food and 
conversation are always good.

It's not usually so formal, but this time we will feature a short 
mounting demo.  I got a request, and I have slides that need mounting 
from my backpacking trip to Maine, where I was tenting during 
Hurricane Floyd.  I'll be mounting medium format slides, nice and 
big, so it will be easy to see across the table.

Besides summer slides and the mounting demo, there will be stereo 
cameras and gadgets.  I built a pentaprism viewer for uncut 
filmstrips that I'm proud of.  Bring your toys to share.

We always meet on the third Friday at La Cocina, at 85th and 
Broadway.  They make the best Mexican food in Manhattan.  People 
always comment on the tasteful decor, and there are several good, big 
meals on the menu for under ten bucks.  We will have a section to 
ourselves, so we have some quiet and space to move, a small miracle 
in Manhattan.  The hostess will point us out to you.

Join us tomorrow, Oct 15, at La Cocina, 217 West 85th Street, just 
off  Broadway.  We'll be there starting at 6:30 pm, and we stay until 
9 pm or later.  Come and go when you like.
