Hi Ronald,
I too was thinking of building my own, as I thought I could never afford
one of the "collectible" projectors from yesteryear. But, eventually, I
came across a TDC Deluxe at a antique market at a price I couldn't refuse.
Anyways, you might want to look at Edmund Scientific's publication, How to
Condense and Project Light, by Sam Brown. You can order them through
http://www.edsci.com for $6.95, or find them at your local library. They
were written back in the 60's, in a "popular mechanics" type cartoon
fashion, and quite fun to read. There isn't anything specific about stereo
projectors, but it may give you some ideas about how to set things up. At
the very least, it gives you all the optical formulas that you may need to
use.
bye,
Vincent.
