Had not thought too much about this - thanks for the information. I looked
at the bottom of my viewers. Four have tripod sockets: Realist Red Button,
Revere 33, Wollensak 11 and Brumberger. Three don't: Wray Graphic,
Sterolist, and Life Like (Deep-View). In our house the most popular viewers
are the Revere 33 and Wollensak 11, both of which I have widened out and
fitted with QI lamps.
I might try setting up a couple of viewers on table top tripods to view the
100s of slides that I am just starting to mount from our recent trip that
included such exotic locations as Berlin, Lindau and Sedona. (exotic for me
is anywhere that is not in Australia)
