P3D Calling All Egos

Anyone who enjoys the spectacle of two very intelligent and charming men
wasting their eloquence in a circular personal squabble over an
ill-defined - and therefore irresolvable - question should read the
exchanges in the London Times between Brewster and Wheatstone, our patron
saints of stereophotography.  The world turns on, as good brother Tony
Alderson knows and alludes to.

Maybe at the next NSA we should stage a series of formal debates on the
recurring hot topics in practical stereography.  Juice up the proceedings
a bit, for the stimulation of the newcomers.  I'll help organize it, if I
find the money to come to Mesa.

Fear not beginners, all is well - the brightest most creative folks are
often the most passionately contentious, but harmless.
